ZyXEL GbE Smart Managed PoE Switch 48-port GS1920-48HP

Attach a variety of devices including access points, IP cameras, and more to the GS1920-48HP 48-Port GbE Smart Managed PoE Switch from ZyXEL. With 44 PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 Gigabit SFP ports, and four Gigabit SFP/RJ-45 combo ports this switch is capable of powering a number of PoE compatible devices eliminating the need to run separate power sources to each connected device. The four SFP ports are designed to support a variety of connection options including SONET, gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and more.

The GS1920-48HP features a 375 Watt total PoE power budget giving you enough power to allocate among a variety of connected devices. The 100 Gbps switching capacity ensures the switch can handle a large amount of data quickly and efficiently while the 16 K MAC address table allows you to store a large number of MAC addresses.

To increase power efficiency the GS1920-48HP is capable of detecting the amount of power required by each connected device ensuring excess power is not provided to the port the device is connected to. In addition to power efficiency, the GS1920-48HP comes equipped with features to prevent against network disruptions including Loop Guard, IP Source Guard, and dual firmware imaging.

The ZyXEL GS1920-48HP PoE switch supports the 802.3at PoE Plus standard, with a 375-watt high-power budget to meet the connectivity needs of additional powered devices like 802.11ac WLAN access points, VoIP phones and IP cameras. Not only does the GS1920-48HP PoE switch feature full PoE ports, it also employs intelligent technology. While set to Consumption Mode, this switch can automatically detect the power consumption status of each powered device and supply only the amount of power required. This intelligent power allocation function minimizes wasteful overpowering of devices, thereby helping businesses save money, while enabling the PoE switch to power more devices.
